Storms, like the one that’s currently headed for New York and just cancelled my Montauk trip, can be scary and sometimes even dangerous, so everyone be careful this weekend! That being said, they can also make for intriguing backdrops and themes in fashion editorials and ad campaigns. You’d be hard-pressed to find an Annie Leibovitz-lensed photograph that takes place outdoors without some ominous-looking clouds. Somehow, they can make any subject look so much more captivating and dramatic. So, on this rainy, gloomy day, we’ve decided to round up some of our favorite storm-inspired fashion photographs. Here at Fashionista, we spend a lot of time looking at designers’ ad campaigns, especially within the last few weeks as the fall ads drop. We’ve even dedicated four slideshows to ranking them. After seeing the same ads in September issue after September issue, you can’t blame us for wanting to find a new way to look at them. Inspired by a recent post on OC Weekly, we realized we could actually improve the fall ads using photoshop and pictures of something else we spend a lot of time looking at: cats. So, without further ado, here are 11 fall ad campaigns improved by some adorable cats.

Bike riding is as trendy a motif as the collection itself which features a marriage of sporty and tough-luxe pieces. His precision tailoring is highlighted by this video – the details of which are shown off by the models en motion.
